This study focuses on the climate change adaptation strategies of ethnic minority communities (Tay, Dao, and Hmong) in the Northern Mountainous Region of Vietnam. This region, the poorest in the country, faces various climate risks like drought, floods, and extreme cold, severely impacting livelihoods and well-being. Despite these challenges, these communities demonstrate resilience through livelihood diversification, utilizing indigenous knowledge, and leveraging social networks. The research also highlights barriers to adaptation, including gender, age, ethnicity, wealth, and location, emphasizing the need for improved government support to enhance their adaptive capacity.
